The "drips" were sculpted right onto a section of 4" pvc pipe, and we made the molds with the pipe inserted so that all we had to do for the production units was put the mold onto a pipe, put in a couple of stoppers & fill with Mark V resin.5 minutes later, they were ready to be painted. The 'flames' were molded seperately from tinted clear urethane. Then we caulked them together, inserted the bulb & hardware, and fit them onto the poly base.
